Archaeological objects and monuments
Mounds:

Merkinė mound, settlement is one of the oldest towns in Lithuania located at the confluence of the Rivers Nemunas and Merkys, mentioned in 1377 in the descriptions of Teutonic crusades. Černiauskai mound The following places of interest are located in Druskininkai and nearby the town: Leipgalis cemetery, Švendubrė stone, Krivonys, Guronys, Drapaliai burial grounds.

Architectural objects and monuments
The central part of Druskininkai town is predominated by the streets plan of the 19th – early 20th C and architecture of buildings containing the features of the European recreational architecture of that time (wooden villas, small spas). Among distinctive new buildings, balneal physiotherapy spa, original architecture of many spas, hotels should be mentioned. Buildings are nicely settled between the squares, parks, pinewoods, small lakes, in the picturesque valleys of the Rivers Nemunas and Ratnyčia. Gothic Druskininkai (1931) and Ratnyčia (1910) Church is located in the heart of the town.

Art objects and monuments
Famous Lithuanian painter and composer M. K. Čiurlionis (1875-1911) lived in Druskininkai, therefore Druskininkai has M. K. Čiurlionis memorial museum, a monument in Čiurlionis square (1975). The town also has V. K. Jonynas’ Art Gallery, Small Gallery (contemporary paintings of Lithuanian and foreign authors are exhibited, an art showroom is in operation). Forest home “Echo of Forest” with a lot of exhibits is situated in a picturesque location. Town guests are also invited to visit Druskininkai Town Museum, Crafts Museum (with the collection of about 40 sculptures on ethnographic themes; expositions of pottery art, linen and bread “roads” and other folk crafts).

Historical objects and monuments
Druskininkai Museum of Resistance and Exile is considered as one of the best museums in Lithuania dedicated for Soviet occupation period.
Grūtas Park is an exposition of soviet sculptures in natural surroundings.

Natural objects and monuments
The town boasts a very picturesque location, near the River Nemunas. Two lakes (Druskonis and Mergelių akys) are in the town. Druskininkai Botanical Preserve protecting rare plants growing there is founded on the isle in the River Nemunas.
